CDE Releases Combo X150 Mobile Washing Plant to Meet Larger Production Demands
The machine cleans grades and recycles 90% water in one machine and can produce concrete and plaster sand simultaneously and is an upgrade to the Combo X70 which was first launched in 2014.
CDE Asia has announced an expansion of the mobile product range for the manufactured sand washing market with the introduction of the new Combo X150 washing system that integrates all washing process from end to end in a single compact mobile unit. The Combo range offers cutting edge classification and water recycling technology that provides accurate control of silt cut points and effectively delivers high quality sand for the fast growing construction projects in the Asian marketplace. According to the company, this not only maximises the production of high quality manufactured sands but also reduces the water requirement for the mobile washing plant by 90%.
The Combo X150 recycles upto 90% of the process water it uses to operate making it extremely friendly to environmental issues that arises out of wasting previous water resources. The water recycling capability of the Combo range also allows to deploy the machine in areas where access to the volumes of water required to operate traditional sand washing systems is just not available.
Combo requires a small fresh supply as opposed to traditional systems which typically consume 10-15 times more water. "This is what makes the Combo the most 'eco-friendly' sand washing system anywhere in the planet," explains Mr. Manish Bhartia, Managing Director of CDE Asia. "The other significant advantage is low power consumption of 0.75kW per ton of feed - at just 151 kW maximum power rating - Combo X150 is the most power efficient machine using clean energy and demonstrates how CDE is committed to helping our customers achieve the highest sand and aggregate specifications using washing technologies while also ensuring minimal environmental impact."
An intelligent remote monitoring platform is also on board the Combo X150, as an option. This platform enables real time measurement of critical functions, storage of equipment-usage data for accurate diagnosis during service calls, and broadcast of user warnings for preventive/service requirement. The tailored system assists users in getting maximum plant performance with maximum equipment availability ensuring customers can meet and exceed their production targets.
Mr. Bhartia highlights - "This new system with higher production capabilities of 150-200 tons per hour provides an even more attractive proposition to the maturing washed manufactured sand market place in India that is now available in 18 cities of the country. Our washed manufactured sand is now a preferred choice and viable alternative to river sand. With the spurt in new construction projects, the larger companies are regularly demanding high capacities to meet their sand demand and Combo X150 provides a perfect answer for their need of integrated mobile wash systems that maximises water use. This new generation of plant will allow operators the flexibility of producing concrete or plaster sand simultaneously from one machine."
The Combo X150 system is applied in the washing of a wide range of materials including production of high quality manufactured sand from crushed rock fines, natural sand & gravel etc. Due to its mobile nature, Combo X150 removes the requirement of bulky civil & structural work etc. and associated pain of long dismantling and reinstallation lead times. Companies with quarrying activities at different geographic locations can move the plant as per their requirement. With less than 7 days of commissioning time once arrived at site, Combo's ultra rapid deployment feature augments to its mobility.
A feeding system inputs the feed material into the washing unit, which effectively removes excessive minus 75 microns fraction from the feed material. The material is then forwarded on to the dewatering unit, which simultaneously delivers washed, dewatered, and well-graded sand products of two grades concrete and plaster sand - via integrated stockpile conveyors. Waste water from the system is transferred to the inbuilt recycling unit, where the solids are separated from the water. The recycled water is circulated back into the plant and final waste silt is removed from the recycling unit in the form of highly concentrated sludge for easy disposal through various sludge management techniques designed by CDE.
Combo range's new modular design, the mobile Combo X150, ensures rapid deployment and minimal plant footprint. This innovative path-breaking design has been jointly developed at the R&D Centre of CDE, located at both Northern Ireland and India.
