CSC Invests in India

Global structural software developer, CSC, continues to invest in the Indian construction market following the acquisition of the structural division of SoftTech in 2011. CSC's expanding portfolio includes concrete building and water tank design software, Struds and ESR-GSR. Aligned with bold expansion plans, CSC has already invested heavily in recruitment, funded a new regional headquarter, launched a new business services division and invested in research and development, along with releasing version 11 of Struds, dedicated software for designing concrete buildings to Indian codes.

To meet the increasing demand for its software, CSC has opened a new Indian headquarter in Pune, complementing the regional offices in Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad. The new headquarter now provides a base for CSC India's expanding sales and technical support teams.

Following significant financial investment in CSC's first year in India, 2012 will see further new releases of both Struds and ESR-GSR. Benefiting from CSC's stringent quality control and developed in conjunction with its UK based global headquarter, the new software releases will provide new and enhanced functionality to structural engineers, improving structural design across India.

CSC has also recently launched a new business services division, designed specifically to support its clients. The dedicated new division provides expert technical support and training to CSC software users across India, enabling them to maximise their investment in CSC software and deliver their projects more efficiently and on time.
