Founded in 2016, Infra Engineers India Pvt. Ltd. (IEPL), offers a wide array of multi-brand, used construction and mining equipment, along with versatile excavator attachments. The company provides top-tier used equipment, with a strong focus on cost-efficiency. Its portfolio of used construction and mining machinery, encompass an extensive range that spans 2 to 200 tons.

The roots of IEPL

IEPL acquires sparsely used equipment to undertake meticulous refurbishment, which are then exported to numerous countries worldwide. Beyond its extensive international outreach, IEPL began offering its solutions to the domestic market in June 2022, and forged a strategic partnership with HDB Financial Services to provide essential financial assistance to its valued clientele.

Meeting customer demands comprehensively

IEPL’s used/refurbished construction equipment include excavators, motor graders, dump trucks, compactors, bulldozers, rigs, pavers, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, cranes, and other earthmoving equipment. The company also provides special excavator attachments, such as the i-Prid Slope Vibratory Compactor, Pad Foot Roller, Long Reach, High Bed/Elevated Neck, etc.

IEPL has ventured into a new vertical to meet customer demand; it is now also rebuilding components such as hydraulic pumps, engines, undercarriages, and motors, providing a cost-effective solution for clients seeking reliable replacement parts.

Going green with electric vehicles

IEPL has expanded its portfolio with a custom EV excavator mounted on a concrete base, equipped with a long reach attached to an Orange Peel grab. This innovation caters to specific requirements of scrap handling. IEPL has converted 22 units to EV so far in a short span of time. This tailor-made equipment developed for use in the rigorous steel industry, operates for approximately 22 hours each day.

In a strategic cost-saving move, IEPL has ingeniously converted the traditional diesel engine to an electric drive system, resulting in substantial operational cost reductions and remarkable improvements in productivity and overall performance.

Cutting edge innovation and customisation

IEPL is pushing the boundaries of innovation and establishing new benchmarks in the construction field by producing state-of-the-art attachments, such as the acclaimed i-Prid slope vibratory compactor and high-neck special attachments.

IEPL’s team of highly skilled service engineers undertake customization at the company’s in-house facility, and thus strive to meet the unique requirements of its customers.

Buyback breakthrough

IEPL’s revolutionary buyback methodology has shown remarkable results, an idea that initially demanded time for widespread recognition. The company rapidly garnered the trust and esteem of industry stakeholders. Today, IEPL has joint ventures with major OEMs and has collaborated with various brands, allowing them to tap the potential of a pre-owned equipment market.

New facility & training academy

IEPL is constructing a new workshop and training academy. This strategic initiative will bolster the company’s capabilities, ensuring a fully-equipped in-house facility and a skilled workforce by the end of 2024. IEPL aims to refurbish over 1,000 pieces of equipment annually, serving both domestic and international markets. Situated on 12 acres of land in Chennai, the new facility has 150,000 sqft of covered shed and a purpose-built 30,000 sqft training academy.
