RITES invites bids for Rs 118.44-cr bridge project
RITES, a leading engineering consultancy company, has announced the invitation for bids for the construction of a major bridge at Bhedan River and associated works for the proposed railway siding of NLC India. This project involves connecting the IB railway station of Bilaspur division of South East Central (SEC) Railway to Talabira mines located in Jharsuguda, Odisha, under Package-B.
The scope of work for this project encompasses various tasks, including earthwork formation, construction of major and minor bridges over the Bhedan River, and the supply of P-way materials. It also involves track linking and other allied works, covering a distance of approximately 1,111 to 5,600 meters. Additionally, a holding loop line spanning from 0.000 to 3.398 meters will be established, branching off from the IB railway station and extending to the Talabira mines at Jharsuguda.
The total investment for this contract amounts to Rs. 118.44 crore, and the completion period has been set at 14 months. Interested parties are requested to submit their bids by the deadline of June 1, 2023.
