HAML considers changes in the Rs 6,250-cr airport metro line
The Hyderabad Airport Metro Limited (HAML) has decided to make changes to the 31-km long line to connect Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) at an investment of Rs 6,250 crore. The new alignment will help accommodate emerging areas and will decongest the twin cities and make the capital a “liveable place. Managing Director N.VS. Reddy informed that the state CM wants to focus on city traffic issues and are re-working the project taking into consideration the new developments in the design stage itself as it will almost become a city metro.
