Ranjot Buildcon speeds up Surat metro project
Ranjot Buildcon, an infrastructure building major, is expediting the construction work on the Surat Metro project, which involves an investment of Rs. 384.47 crore. The company has erected the first PSC box girder for the CS4 package of the Surat Metro, spanning a length of approximately 4.15 km and running between Sarthana and North Ramp. Package CS4 represents the fourth and final segment of Line 1, which covers a total distance of 22.7 km and will link Sarthana to Dream City through 20 stations. The Surat Metro is under construction and is designed to be a mass rapid transit system with two lines, totalling 40.35 km in length, and an estimated cost of Rs. 12,020.32 crores. These two lines, known as the Red Line and the Green Line, will connect Sarthana to Dream City with 20 stations in between, while the other line will connect Bhesan to Saroli, featuring 18 stations.
