Patel Engineering Secures Munneru River Protection Project in Telangana
Patel Engineering Limited (PEL), in partnership with its joint venture partner, has been granted the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) by the Irrigation & CAD Department, Government of Telangana, for a contract valued at ₹525.36 crore. The contract involves constructing a Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) Protection Wall spanning 8.5 km on both the right and left flanks of the Munneru River, extending from Polepally to Prakashnagar in Khammam City, Khammam District.
Additionally, the project includes building embankments of 2 kilometers each on both sides of the River Munneru near the Nagarjuna Sagar Left Bank Aqueduct in Khammam City. This comprehensive approach aims to enhance the irrigation infrastructure and water management systems in the area.
