PM Boosts Rail Infra in UP with Projects Worth ₹8,200 Cr
The Prime Minister inaugurated, dedicated, and laid the foundation stone for multiple rail projects worth approximately ₹8,200 crores, aiming to bolster rail infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh.
He dedicated the doubling and electrification of several key rail sections and inaugurated the Bhatni-Peokol bypass line, addressing the issue of engine reversal at Bhatni and ensuring seamless train operations.
Additionally, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for the gauge conversion of the Bahraich-Nanpara-Nepalganj Road rail section, enhancing connectivity to metropolitan cities through a broad gauge line for accelerated development.
Furthermore, he inaugurated a new rail line from Ghazipur City and Ghazipur Ghat to Tarighat, including a rail bridge over the river Ganga. Moreover, he flagged off the MEMU train service between Ghazipur City-Tarighat-Dildar Nagar Jn, further improving rail connectivity in the region.
