Road Projects Worth Over ₹30,500 Cr Unveiled in Uttar Pradesh
The Prime Minister dedicated to the nation and laid the foundation stone for several road projects worth approximately ₹11,500 crore in Uttar Pradesh, aimed at improving connectivity and reducing traffic congestion, fostering socioeconomic development in the region.
Additionally, the Prime Minister dedicated to the nation road projects worth more than ₹19,000 crore, including the Lucknow Ring Road, Chakeri to Allahabad Section of NH-2, western side spur of Rampur – Rudrapur, Kanpur Ring Road, and Raebareli – Prayagraj section of NH-24B/ NH-30. These projects are expected to further enhance connectivity, alleviate traffic congestion, and stimulate socioeconomic progress.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister inaugurated approximately 744 rural road projects valued at more than ₹3,700 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. These projects will contribute to the construction of over 5,400 kilometers of rural roads across approximately 59 districts in the state, significantly enhancing connectivity and socio-economic development.
