PERI GmbH, the family-owned company, one of the world's largest manufacturers and suppliers of formwork and scaffolding systems, is massively increasing its production capacities. The official groundbreaking ceremony for the next expansion phase of the scaffolding plant took place in Guenzburg, Bavaria.

Production of PERI scaffolding systems at the Guenzburg site has been running since summer 2017. At the opening ceremony of the new plant, PERI had already announced that the company, due to the strong demand, would rapidly expand its production capacities.

In total, PERI invests a three-digit million Euro figure in Guenzburg and creates around 300 new jobs in one of the most modern and efficient scaffolding factories in the world. The second phase of the expansion comprises the construction of a new galvanizing plant and a metal processing plant, which will be more than double the existing floor space at the site. The company expects to complete the construction work in Guenzburg in the first half of 2019.

“We have a clear growth strategy. In order to achieve our ambitious goals, we need modern, state-of-the-art, high-performance plants,” said Leonhard Braig, Managing Director Product and Technology at PERI. “Guenzburg is our worldwide lead plant for the scaffolding production. Here we will set the worldwide process and quality standards that our customers expect from PERI.”
