Coninfra Asphalt batchmix plants: Technologically advanced & competitive

Coninfra Machinery
Coninfra Machinery, Saumil Shah, Director

We are gearing up to meet escalating demand by venturing into higher-capacity plants, investing in R&D, and are aiming to increase production capacity fourfold in the next year or two.

Coninfra Machinery currently produces plants in capacities ranging from 40 to 150 tph drum mix plants and 80-160 tph asphalt batch mix plants at its new facility in Kathwada, Ahmedabad. It plans to venture into the 200 to 250 tph plants and subsequently the higher capacity 200-400 tph plants, which are set to see escalating demand. The ISO 900:2015 certified company has an in-house testing lab equipped with a sophisticated testing equipment to ensure that its products guarantee consistent performance. It now aims to become a leading manufacturer of advanced production systems, and innovative products and solutions, for which it will invest in R&D.

Focus on innovation, ecology, and cost-effective solutions

Coninfra Machinery
In view of the high demand for technological advancements in machines and for reliable services, Coninfra Machinery is geared up to venture into the higher capacity plants and is planning to increase its production capacity four times in another year or so. The company has a strong focus on innovation, ecology, and cost-effective solutions and is developing products and technologies that reflect its commitment to sustainability, low emissions, and minimal environmental impact.

Our in-house proprietary technology allows our asphalt batch mix plants to deliver the rated output and the right level of heating efficiency. Our in-house designed modulating burners aligned with a bag house filter ensure the desired heating efficiency. The operation is backed by PLC-based Scada systems. This does away with the moisture present in the aggregates while maintaining the right air to fuel ratio.

We have designed the mixing and the allied process through overrating the plants such that our plants deliver the rated output, which also enables the base plant to deliver 15% more throughput. All our plants are structurally very stable, and 27% are RAP-enabled. We are promoting them in both the domestic and export markets.

Investing to remain competitive

We are investing in advanced production technologies and backward integration in order to hedge the high price of raw materials. We are getting a positive response for our plants, but the higher cost of raw materials has made it challenging for us to offer more economically priced products.

We are marketing and servicing our plants through our own channels and are also appointing dealers to supplement our marketing and servicing. Along with installation, maintenance, and training support, we will be setting up an ERP-based system as a value-added service, so that customers can order parts online.

After-sales service and operator training

Timely deliveries, rigorous testing of plant components pre-dispatch, prompt after-sales service, and competitive pricing of spares underscore Coninfra Machinery’s commitment to customer satisfaction. Recognizing the significance of skilled operators, the company conducts regular training sessions for operators, customers, and partners, ensuring that they remain updated on industry developments.
