Fab Hind introduces 220 tph RAP enabled Asphalt Batch Mix Plants

Fab Hind
Fab Hind, Ritesh Prajapati - CEO

We have started producing 220 tph, fully RAP-enabled asphalt batch mix plants at our new facility in Mehsana, Gujarat, and will ramp up production in 2024 to meet the rising demand.

Fab Hind was set up in the year 1991 for manufacturing Road Construction Machinery at its plant in Vatva GIDC, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It is developing waste recycling and road construction machineries using the latest technologies. Products include asphalt plants, M-sand producing plants, stationary concrete batching plants, bitumen decanter, bitumen sprayer, and more.

Producing higher capacity asphalt batch mix plants

Fab Hind has started production of 220 tph, fully RAP enabled asphalt batch mix plants at its new facility spread across two lakh sqft in Mehsana, Gujarat. Production is at the initial stage and we will ramp it up in 2024 to meet the rising demand for construction of longer stretches of road projects.

There is a lot of volatility in the market due to delayed payments to contractors by project owners and developers in India and delays in closure of deals in some export markets due to variations in currency rates. However, the long-term demand fundamentals remain stable. The company has exported two 160 tph plants to Africa and expects to bag orders for five more in the same capacity.

Making improvisations in products to enhance efficiency

Fab Hind
We are making certain improvisations in our existing plants and are integrating more advanced and higher capacity vibrating motors to enhance screening efficiency. We have made improvements in the design of our plants to make them more robust and durable, have reduced their fuel consumption, and improved their delivery of the rated output.

The superior performance of our plants can be attributed to their advanced design and higher quality components. We conduct strict quality checks during all stages of production to ensure that our plants work optimally. Through our testing mechanism, we conduct 8-10 hours of continuous tests for gauging the power load consumption, rotation, speed checks, and most importantly leakage detection.

I am pleased to say that through these initiatives, our customers are experiencing higher plant availability, lower maintenance costs, and increased lifecycle, and we are seeing a good brand recall of our products, despite the stiff competition. For instance, we delivered a 200 tph plant to Nirmal Build Infra for their highway construction project between Delhi to Katra. The client operated the plant throughout the day and derived throughput of 12,000-14,000 tons per week without experiencing any plant breakdowns and completed the project as per the scheduled time.

Strengthening product services and support

Fab Hind is strengthening its product services and support for which it is acquiring mobile service vans to render parts and maintenance to customers on project sites withing 12 hours. Our mobile service has been extremely beneficial in supporting customers at project sites in Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi-NCR, where close to 60 units of Fab Hind plants are operating. We market our plants directly through our in-house channel and also through some dealers.
