GS Caltex's high-quality lubricants for construction & mining equipment

GS Caltex India
GS Caltex India, Jayanta Ray - General Manager – Industrial and OEM

In the upcoming Excon 2023, GS Caltex India will focus on its high-performance product portfolio and services for the Construction and Mining Industry. We will display our impressive range of high-quality finished lubricants that are supplied to major OEMs.

GS Caltex offers advanced products tailored for mining, quarrying, and construction applications, specifically designed to deliver enduring protection, reliability, and efficiency in demanding off-road conditions and high-pressure industrial operations. Our strategic partnerships with leading OEMs enable us to introduce pioneering solutions, including engine oils compliant with API FA4 performance standards. At GS Caltex, we prioritize comprehensive cost management, encompassing Product Cost, Maintenance Costs, and Administration Costs, effectively reducing the Total Cost of Ownership for businesses. Our goal is to drive profitable growth while providing sustainable solutions to our construction and mining clients, aiming to become their preferred industry partner.

Helping mining companies achieve sustain- able goals

The company is currently doing business in high-quality premium lubricants manufactured from its own group II plus base oils imported from its Yeosu Refinery in South Korea. These high-performance lubricants offer reliability at all temperatures, lower oil consumption, significantly lower fuel consumption, and extend service intervals. Whenever engines and gearboxes run freer and more reliably, operating costs are lower because they consume less; if a 1% lower fuel consumption means fuel savings of several hundred rupees per vehicle/year, depending on operating conditions. We also focus on reducing the overall lubrication costs of our customers in the mining sector and have made services an integral part of our offerings so that the mining companies achieve sustainable goals.

GS Caltex India will focus on its high-performance product portfolio

Investing in environmentally sustainable lubricant solutions

Due to the investments being made in environmentally sustainable lubricant solutions, the market is moving towards fully synthetic products (Group III and PAO-based Base Oils). The increasing popularity of the synthetic lubricants due to their various advantages over conventional lubricants (such as excellent thermal stability, wear & tear protection, good load carrying capacity, and low friction) are likely to propel industry growth in the B2B segment over the next few years. GS Caltex is already prepared to address the challenges in the market and become the preferred solution provider of Synthetic Lubricants (PAO-based) and additives that complement the performance of the finished lubricants by making it more sustainable, fuel economic, and reliable.

GS Caltex KIXX LUBO Group II/III base oil has excellent low temperature properties and exceptionally bright white clear transparent qualities. It is environment-friendly, has low volatility, reduces oil consumption, and improves fuel economy. GS Caltex offers high thermal and oxidation stability to support drain interval extensions. All these advantages are the result of our latest cutting-edge hydrocracking technology and our state of the art and one of largest and most modern refinery located at Yeosu in South Korea.

Customer service an integral part of GS Caltex offerings to construction companies

Our long-established relations with OEMs help us deliver the best technical services as per the latest trends to keep their equipment at optimal condition so that they deliver peak performance. As GS Caltex focuses on reducing overall lubrication costs of business, it has made services an integral part of its offering to construction companies. Our team of experts is available to work with construction and mining companies to help optimize their overall lubrication management and guide them on the cost saving benefits of our products.

Our operations cover the whole of India with warehouses at key locations to provide timely service to customers. Our services include Advanced Oil Condition Monitoring, Customized Training and Site Services, and Technical Trouble Shooting and Assistance.
