After initial hiccups, DLF the private holder of the project has finally secured green signal to build complex-cum-mall project on the site of popular cinema hall Chanakya. The mega builder is all set to start the construction work very shortly as all the mandatory clearances have already been put in place NDMC spokesperson O.P. Mishra said adding that the design of the project had to be changed to meet the requirements of various agencies. The multiplex mall will be four-storied with separate floors' parking in the basement. The project, which was awarded in 2008 to DLF couldn't be initiated due to certain objections from various agencies on issues like height and usage of space. Therefore, in order to receive the clearance, the height had to be lowered and the issue related to floor area ratio has also been settled, he added.
