Adding to its project portfolio in the international arena, Punj Llyod, a renowned infrastructure building player, in a recent cache, has secured Rs 3,254cr contract from the Libyan government for the construction of infrastructure facilities in the city. The scope of work in the recently won contract included the designing and carrying out the construction of infrastructure facilities in the length and breadth of Zliten city. In the contract, the domestic player will create the storm and sewer lines network, water network, telecommunication and power distribution system, natural gas network, street lighting and road works including landscaping of parks and green areas. The project area is stretching across 2,400 hectares and covering the entire area of Zliten city and that the company will complete the entire project in four years, said official sources.
