Haryana Road Upgradation
In order to improve the conditions of roads across the state, the state government has set aside a sum of worth Rs. 353.60cr, which also involved the widening of the state highways, said official sources claiming that out of the targeted funds, Rs 255.31cr will be spent on strengthening and widening of 162.41 km roads crisscrossing the NCR region and the remaining portion of the amount will be used for improving and widening about 100 km of roads across the state.

The amount has been sanctioned by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund for roads falling in areas including Israna, Badshahpur, Pataudi, Hathin, Ateli, Nangal Choudhry, Bawal, Kosli, Ferozpur Jhirka, Punhana, Sohna, Beri, Indri, Gharunda, Tosham, Bawani Khera, Ambala Cantt, Thanesar, Ladwa, Kaithal, Pundri, Jind, Narwana, Aampur, Nalwa, Ellenabad and Rania. In the NCR region road stretches are Gurgaon-Pataudi, Farrukhnagar road via Garhi and Shadhrana in Gurgaon, Haily Mandi Farrukhnagr road via Khandevla and Ateli to Kheri road stretches in the Mahendergarh district.
