In an attempt to match increasing affordable housing deficit across the country, Tata Value Homes, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Housing, has recently launched a new and second low cost housing project under its New Haven brand at Boisar area in Maharashtra's Thane district, managing director and chief executive officer, Brotin Banerjee, said, explaining that with a shortfall of over 21 million dwelling units across the country, there is a huge untapped demand for quality affordable housing project across India.
Being an important part of Tata Housing's growth strategy, the launch of its second project at Boisar is in line with its expansion plans in affordable housing.
As a matter of fact, the spacious complex in Boisar would offer 1 to 2.5 BHK residences at an affordable price starting from Rs. 17.1 lakh. The exclusive apartments located at Boisar, an upcoming commercial and residential suburb near Mumbai, will be centred on the TATA Value Homes' philosophy of creating a positive ecosystem and providing a sense of place and community life. The signature 'New Haven' homes will be located in lush greenery and would comprise a monsoon park, jogging tracks, recreational areas, well-equipped gymnasium, a club house, swimming pool, among other basic and modern amenities, he added.
