Andhra Pradesh Highway Projects
Committing to build world class road and highway network in the state in the next three years, the Andhra Pradesh chief minister rolled out multiple road projects and has directed the Roads and Buildings department to work by integrating resources and take up the construction work of the four-laning of Kurnool to Amaravati road project on priority.

Apart from this, he also said that Pendurthy-Anakapalle road should be completed in two years and Rajahmundry-Gundavaram road should be commissioned in the next 18 months. Given that the Visakhapatnam-Chennai Industrial Corridor will emerge as an industrial hub and that this part of the highway along with Nellore-Vijayawada road stretch would be converted into six lanning highways. In view of the fact that Rayalaseema is going to be a great industrial zone it would also get top class road connectivity, he added.
