IL&FS Transportation Networks is all set to win two mega road projects, which involved scope of work including the 4-laning of Amravati-Chikhli section of NH-6 and Fagne - Gujarat/ Maharashtra Border section of the same highway in the state of Maharashtra on BOT (TOLL) basis on design, built, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) model under the NHDP Phase-IV programs of the NHAI as infrastructure building player has emerged as the lowest bidder for these projects, said an official spokesperson of the company claiming that the projects involved a combined investment worth Rs. 4,174cr.
In the first case, the company had quoted a grant of Rs. 183.05cr with a concession period of 19 years, including construction period of 910 days at an estimated cost of Rs. 2,288.18cr.
