DMRC starts Bidding for Underground Tunneling Contracts in Patna Metro
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has commenced the bidding process for two underground tunneling contracts, PC05 and PC06, for the Patna Metro's Line-1. These contracts, part of the 30.91-km Phase 1, will cover an 8 km stretch connecting Danapur Cantonment to Khemni Chak. The twin tunnels will link Rukanpura Ramp and Mithapur Ramp, including three underground stations in each contract. The 42-month construction deadline is supported by funding from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). These contracts represent the final two out of six civil construction packages for the entire Patna Metro project.
