DoNER Ministry Approves ₹716 Cr Infrastructure Projects for Tripura
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has announced that the Ministry of DoNER (Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region) has given the green light to five infrastructure projects in the state, totaling ₹716 crore.
Among the approved projects, ₹121 crore has been allocated for establishing a drug de-addiction center in Bishramganj, Sepahijala district. Additionally, ₹192 crore has been earmarked for the construction of a 200-bed women and child care unit at Agartala Government Medical College, while ₹202 crore has been allocated for the development of Agartala Government Dental College.
Furthermore, Saha inaugurated a 50-bed field hospital and OT complex at Amarpur subdivisional hospital in Gomati district. Equipped with modern facilities, this initiative fulfills a longstanding demand of the people. Saha emphasized that his government remains committed to providing high-quality healthcare services without compromise.
