Indo-Japan Intellectual Conclave explores Northeast India's potential
The fourth edition of the India-Japan Intellectual Conclave, themed "North East India, Bangladesh, and the Bay of Bengal Region in the Indo-Pacific: The Way Forward," was held in Shillong, organized by the Asian Confluence in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs, India, Embassy of Japan in India, and North Eastern Council.

High Commissioner Mustafizur Rehman of Bangladesh to India emphasized the importance of mutually beneficial connectivity projects, particularly between India and Bangladesh.

Donald P Wahlang, Chief Secretary of Meghalaya, discussed the importance of developing urban infrastructure in Northeast India, projecting a substantial contribution to India's GDP by 2047.
