MSRDC set to undertake big-ticket infrastructure projects
The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC), which is executing some of the significant infrastructure projects across the state, is planning to monetise its land parcels along the Pune-Mumbai expressway. A total of 24 land parcels have been identified along the e-way. A total of 450 hectares will be leased to fund major infrastructure projects, such as the Samruddhi expressway, Pune ring road, Virar-Alibaug multimodal corridor and Jalna Nanded expressway, among others. The land will be leased for a period of 99 years for monetising these projects. The plan is currently being implemented in Pune and Raigad districts for leasing lands along the e-way.
