PM Modi Unveils ₹1,330 Cr Development Projects in Goa
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development projects worth over ₹1,330 crores as part of the Viksit Bharat, Viksit Goa 2047 program in Goa. The initiatives included the inauguration of the permanent campus of the National Institute of Technology, Goa, equipped with various facilities to cater to the needs of students, faculty, and staff. Additionally, the Prime Minister dedicated the new campus of the National Institute of Watersports, which will offer tailor-made courses for watersports and water rescue activities. He also inaugurated a 100 TPD Integrated Waste Management Facility and laid the foundation stone for a Passenger Ropeway and a 100 MLD Water Treatment Plant. Furthermore, he distributed appointment orders to 1930 new Government recruits and handed over sanction letters to beneficiaries of various welfare schemes during a Rozgar Mela.
