Uttarakhand signs MoUs worth Rs. 94,000-cr with industrial groups: CM
The Uttarakhand government has signed MoUs worth nearly Rs 94,000 crore with various industrial groups so far, ahead of the Global Investors Summit. Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami highlighted that projects aimed at expanding air, rail, road and ropeway connectivity are being undertaken in the state from which investors can benefit. As many as 30 new investor-friendly policies have been introduced to make it more convenient for entrepreneurs to invest in the state, including a single-window system simplified procedure. Additionally, a land bank of 6,000 acres has been created in the state. The CM also announced further incentives for those investing in the state. The Global Investors Summit is scheduled to take place in Dehradun on 8-9 December, 2023.
