Patel Engineering Wins Maharashtra Water Lifting Project
The Office of the Executive Engineer, Government of Maharashtra, has awarded Patel Engineering (PEL) and its joint venture partner as the lowest bidder (L1) for a contract valued at ₹342.76 crore. The project, slated to be completed within 24 months, is situated in Maharashtra.
The scope of work encompasses the construction of water lifting arrangements for LIS 1-10-11-12,8, 9, 3, 4-5-6 of the first stage, starting from the submergence of the Jigaon project. This includes the development of approach channels, rising mains, pumping machinery, switchyard, and all associated civil, mechanical, and electrical works. PEL holds a 35 percent stake in the joint venture.
