DBLbags Rs. 270.07-cr construction contract in Goa
Dilip Buildcon (DBL) has secured a contract for the construction of observatory towers on new Zuari Bridge, Goa, entailing an estimated cost of Rs 270.07 crore. The company has also received a letter of acceptance (LoA) for the tender floated by the Public Works Department (PWD) wing of the state. The project pertains to develop towers and viewing galleries, including approaches, decorative lighting, parking on new bridge on NH-17/NH-66 on Panjim-Mangalore section in the state. The project has to be executed on design, built, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) model within a stipulated period of 60 months. In November this year, DBL was declared the lowest bidder (L1) for the project in question and now the project has officially been awarded by the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), said a DBL spokesperson.
