Spearheaded by Mr. A Ranga Raju, NCC is one of the largest infrastructure construction companies in India which through its subsidiaries owns several infrastructure assets on a build-operate-transfer basis.

NCC was established in 1990 when it took over the business of the erstwhile partnership firm, Nagarjuna Construction Corporation, founded by Mr. AVS Raju in 1978. Currently, the company's construction services business operates in the road, water, buildings, electrical works, irrigation, oil and gas, and metals segments. Having ventured in the mining and power sectors in the recent past, NCC Limited is ranked as one of the fastest growing construction companies and is listed in India on the Bombay Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol (NAGARCON) and on the National Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol (NAGARCONST).

Mr. Raju who has over 40 years of rich experience in the infrastructure construction industry and allied fields believes that hard work and dedication are vital for the growth of a company. He has been awarded with several accolades and recognition. Under Mr. Raju's leadership, NCC was recognized as one of the 'Most Admired Construction Companies in 2009 besides being adjudged with several other recognitions. The company has also a presence in International arena viz Oman and UAE.
