Dilip Buildcon Limited (DBL) is one of the leading private sector road-focused Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) contractors in the country. The company named after its visionary promoter Mr. Dilip Suryavanshi who holds a bachelor degree in civil engineering from the University of Jabalpur. He has over 31 years of experience in the business of construction. Currently, he is the President of the Madhya Pradesh Builders Association. As the Managing Director of the Company, he liaisons with various departments of the government and also overlooks processes including tendering, bidding, and planning the projects.

Prior to formation of DBL, Mr. Suryavanshi was a sole proprietor of Dilip Builders. In 2007, the business of the proprietorship firm was taken over with all the assets & liabilities by DBL. In the initial years of its operation, DBL focused on commercial & residential buildings, creating many marquee projects in Madhya Pradesh. Later the company forayed into other types of construction as well.

It is because of the sincere and relentless effort of Mr. Suryavanshi and his company's policy of continuous innovation that the Company's business grew in the early 90's and it ventured first into water sanitation and sewage construction followed by structural designing & construction for clients in the oil & gas industry. At the end of 1990s, when the new central government put forward a vision of connecting the country with roads, DBL, under the stewardship of Mr. Suryavanshi, saw it as a huge opportunity and dived head-first into it. After facing stiff resistance on multiple fronts by the established players & stakeholders, DBL finally got a start in the sector with a small road project. After that DBL never looked back and within a short period of six years became the largest road-focused construction firm in Madhya Pradesh.

With its relentless pursuit of growth and excellence, the company then set its sight on becoming the largest road-focused EPC player in the country and started pursuing bigger projects across the country. Mr. Suryavanshi worked tirelessly to improve its EPC capabilities and invested heavily in procuring the best road building equipment from around the world. This strategy paid off and DBL was able to go beyond the exacting demands of developers. Today, it has become a well-known EPC contractor in the country.

Under the guidance of Mr. Suryavanshi, DBL has won numerous awards and recognition for its projects with the most recent accolade coming from World Bank which awarded its Ahmedabad-Godhra project as the showcase project in India.
