Established in 1979, ElectroMech is the largest industrial overhead cranes manufacturer in India today. The company has now developed a strong team of over 500 people and expanded its global footprint. With a significant presence in over 35 countries and a subsidiary company in Dubai, ElectroMech is leading the pack for the industrial cranes industry.
Mr. Mehendale is a qualified Mechanical Engineer with an MS degree from US in Manufacturing Systems Engineering and Engineering Management. He joined ElectroMech in 1999 and since then he has led an army of employees committed to a single cause - 'To make ElectroMech the biggest and the best.'
Mr. Tushar Mehendale not only brings to the table engineering penchant and drive, but also the vision of customer focus and service. He is actively involved in the entire operations of the company enabling ElectroMech to maximize the value of its products and service offerings. In addition to this, he is also involved directly in the overall marketing and business development activities of ElectroMech. Mr. Mehendale heads the R&D cell of the company which is continuously engaged in developing newer products and components maximizing the value of its product and service offerings.
Under his guidance, ElectroMech has diversified its offerings to cater to different industries and geographies. Today, the company caters to a wide spectrum of industries, including General and Heavy Engineering, Power, Shipbuilding, Infrastructure, Steel and Oil & Gas. In 2009, ElectroMech FZE, a wholly owned subsidiary, was established in Dubai to cater to the requirements of the Middle Eastern and North African markets.
With Mr. Mehendale at the helm, the company has grown exponentially. Today, ElectroMech is the largest industrial crane manufacturing company in India in terms of volumes as well as value.
To fortify ElectroMech's product offerings, Mr. Mehendale led the company in strategic alliances with ABUS - Germany, Stahl Cranes- Germany as well as a joint venture with Zoomlion to manufacture tower cranes.
With Mr. Mehendale steering the company, Electromech is well on its way to be a global leader in the material handling equipment sector by setting new benchmarks for the industry as a whole.
