Inox Wind secures 279mw order for wind turbine generators & equipment
Inox Wind (IWL) has been awarded a significant 279 MW work order from a large commercial and industrial (C&I) player. The order encompasses the supply of three MW wind turbine generators (WTGs) and related wind energy equipment. The project, set to be completed by June 2025, will involve installing WTGs in the regions of Rajasthan and Gujarat.
The contract entails a comprehensive scope of services, including equipment supply, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) for 180 MW. Additionally, Inox Wind will manage end-to-end turnkey execution for the remaining 99 MW. The agreement also covers post-commissioning multi-year operations and maintenance (O&M) services.
This order represents a repeat engagement with a C&I customer, for whom Inox Wind has previously executed around 325 MW of orders. Leveraging its three MW series WTGs, Inox Wind boasts a manufacturing capacity exceeding two GW per annum. The company's subsidiary, Inox Green Energy Services, contributes to its robust portfolio with over 3.2 GW.
