PM Inaugurates Sudarshan Setu Bridge & Key Infra Projects in Gujarat
The Prime Minister of India dedicated the Sudarshan Setu bridge, connecting Okha mainland and Beyt Dwarka island, at a cost of approximately ₹980 crores. Spanning 2.32 km, it is the country's longest cable-stayed bridge. Notably, the bridge features a unique design adorned with verses from the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita and images of Lord Krishna, along with solar panels generating one megawatt of electricity. The bridge aims to improve transportation and reduce travel time for devotees visiting Dwarka and Beyt-Dwarka, replacing the reliance on boat transport. Additionally, it is expected to become a significant tourist attraction in the Devbhumi Dwarka region.

Furthermore, he dedicated rail electrification projects connecting Rajkot, Okha, Jetalsar, Somnath, and Wansjaliya, contributing to the modernization of railway infrastructure.
Moreover, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for the widening of the Dhoraji-Jamkandorna-Kalavad section of NH-927D, signaling the improvement of road connectivity. Additionally, he inaugurated the Regional Science Center at Jamnagar and the installation of a Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) system at the Sikka Thermal Power Station, enhancing environmental sustainability and promoting scientific education in the region.
