PM Launches National Highway Projects Worth ₹18,100 Cr in Bihar
The Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for a series of National Highway projects collectively valued at over ₹18,100 crores. Among the inaugurated projects are the 63.4 km long two-lane Jaynagar-Narahia section of NH-227, the six-lane Patna ring road segment from Kanhauli to Ramnagar on NH-131G, a 3.2 km long second flyover in Kishanganj town, and the four-laning of the Bakhtiyarpur-Rajauli and Arra-Parariya sections of NH–319.
Additionally, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for six new National Highway projects, including the construction of four-lane access-controlled Greenfield highways spanning from Amas to village Shivrampur, Shivrampur to Ramnagar, village Kalyanpur to village Balbhadarpur, Balbhadarpur to Bela Nawada, a 25 km long four-lane elevated corridor from Danapur to Bihta, and the upgradation of the existing two-lane to four-lane carriageway of the Bihta-Koilwar section. These initiatives aim to enhance connectivity, reduce travel time, promote tourism, and drive socio-economic development in the region.
