Mega projects to drive growth of India’s construction equipment industry
The CE market has been witnessing a quick recovery over the last year and we expect this trend to continue in the future as well. The road construction sector, core construction, and real estate sectors are driving the market for construction equipment.

The crushing and screening equipment market has grown enormously. In the stationery segment, Impact Crushers (VSI Crushers) are seening a growth in demand, especially in the aggregates and manufactured sand segments. The market for mobile crushing and screening solutions is also seeing a growing demand for aggregates.

Bharatmala, Ganga Expressway, the Narmada Project, and various railway projects such as the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train and its extension plan – the Sevoke -Teesta Railway project – are some of the prestigious projects which will reinforce growth and demand, going forward.

Sandvik providing maximum value of performance, quality & safety

Advancements in Sandvik products & solutions
Sandvik is a leader in rock processing solutions for the mining and construction industries. Our heavy-duty mining screens are also gaining popularity in large iron ore mines.

The crushing and screening market is maturing and has moved to the 300-400 tph range. Sandvik is offering a range of Jaw, Cone and VSI crushers with a capacity of 600 tph and higher, based on requirements in the mining and construction segments.

Our CV200 series VSI technology is one of the best options for producers of manufactured sand. The new VSI200 series crushers produce the best quality sand with the highest level of safety, flexibility, and mechanical advantages.

With our investments in R&D, we can meet the needs of the industry by offering the right solutions and with speed. We keep on adopting the most suitable technologies in our products, for instance, the soon to be launched SAM, is a new global, digital platform that connects machines and dealers and foretells the need and support. We are extremely proud to announce that an entire process plant can be erected and commissioned by our experts remotely and with local support.

Optimizing Opex and productivity for customers
Asset acquisition, as well as dry and wet rental/lease, is the trend now. Capex stress remains prevalent but with the proper capping of Opex and RoI, it drives customers to go the extra mile. As a company, we are completely geared up to support our customers either way. We target a client base which is eligible and has strong books to be financed for Capex acquisition.

At the same time, optimizing the Opex and productivity for our existing client base is of prime importance for us. Sandvik’s approach is to ensure a strong and enhanced lifecycle that boosts confidence in the customers. Furthermore, we try to keep the cost base as optimized as possible to ease the financial burden on our customers. We have a solid inventory for ensuring fast delivery of new orders and for increasing the uptime of the equipment of our existing clients.

Customer service and support
To ensure maximum plant availability, we have framed strong lifecycle service agreements with our customers. We have an equipment protection package for almost the entire range of crushing plants and screens to provide protective and production-enhancing options such that our customers can enhance their business.

Sandvik offers complimentary quarterly service visits and inspections by its engineers, besides annual maintenance contracts with production guarantees and reduced downtime of its plants. We have a strong edge over competition because of the focused management of our customers, and also supporting them in reducing their cost of operations, along with timely supply of spares to reduce machine breakdowns.

Sandvik is well-positioned to cater to export markets
There is a growing demand for crushing plants in aggregates as well as metal segments in the South-East Asian countries like Indonesia, Philippines, and Malaysia, mainly for high-capacity plants of 500 tph and above. Sandvik India has been providing 360o support including Sales, Aftermarket Service, Project and plant installation support to these markets including the Indo-China regions like Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam, with support from our dealer network and service tie-ups. The team has been providing sales, service, and project support and taking the onus to establish a presence in these markets.

Being a well-known face in markets like Africa, where many Indian consultants and Liaoning companies are working closely to provide the best crushing and screening solutions in the aggregate and metal markets, we are confident of establishing our presence in new markets as well.
