A construction gantry's 17-meter-long side beam, which was utilised for laying tracks, collapsed onto a car in Meerut, resulting in severe injuries to a police constable. This incident took place within the under-construction Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor.
