Gati enhances service delivery network to handle festive season demand
Gati Express and Supply Chain Private limited (GESCPL), an Express Distribution and Supply Chain Management provider, has ramped up its warehousing and delivery capabilities to meet the surge in demand during the festive season in the commerce domain as well as in the white goods, consumer durables, and FMCG segments. GESPL is now equipped to handle 20 percent more cargo loads throughout the year due to its continued capacity and efficiency enhancement measures.
With a mega, state-of-the-art, and tech-enabled Surface Transhipment Centre and Distribution Warehouse (STCDW) spanning 1.48 lakh sq. ft. in Bhiwandi, located on the outskirts of Mumbai, a 1.5 lakh sq ft Surface Transhipment Centre (STC) in Farukh Nagar, as well as STCs in Indore, Nagpur, Guwahati, and an upcoming one in Bengaluru, with capacities of 39,140 sq ft, 50,000 sq ft, 40,000 sq ft, and 1.46 lakh sq ft, respectively, GESCPL offers a broader reach due to its strategically located facilities covering the length and breadth of the country. GESCPL aims to assist SMEs in these regions in building more geographically diversified markets during the festive season.
