Noida’s new Satellite City to come up on 21,000-hectare area
As the demand for industries, commercial projects, and urban development surges, Noida Authority has identified 21,000 hectares of agricultural land across 86 villages of Gautam Budh Nagar and Bulandshahr districts for the development of New Noida as the newest satellite city. The master plan for the new city also known as Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region (DNGIR) is in the final stage and will be submitted for approval very shortly. The authority has allocated Rs. 1,000 crore for land acquisition and internal development in New Noida, which is expected to house about 600,000 residents including a logistics hub, knowledge centers, integrated townships and skill development centre.
