Patel Engineering emerges lowest bidder in JV for Rs 1275.30-cr MP Jal Nigam project
Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam has declared Mumbai-based infrastructure company Patel Engineering Limited as the lowest bidder (L1) in a joint venture for the Rs. 1,275.30 crore contract. The scope of work involves Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Testing, Commissioning, Trial Run and Operation & Maintenance for 10 years. The project is related to the Narmada-Gambhir Multi-Village Drinking Water Supply Scheme at Ujjain and Indore districts, to be executed as a single package on ‘Turn-key Job Basis’. The project is to be completed in a period of 24 months and further operations and maintenance for the whole scheme to be carried out for a period of 10 years. The project is set to be executed in a Joint Venture, of which PEL’s share is 35 per cent, amounting to Rs. 446.36 crore.
