MMRDA unveils Metro Line-10 in Mumbai
The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has announced the construction of a 10km-long Metro 10 line, which will directly connect Metro 4 and Mira Road in the metropolitan city. The new metro line will feature a double-decker design, running above an elevated road planned between Gaimukh and Fountain hotel. The line will originate from Gaimukh, where line 4A culminates, and it will culminate at Mira Gaon. The project is expected to take 36 months to complete from the date of commencement. Mumbai Metro 10 will be an extension of the under-construction Metro 4 (Wadala – Ghatkopar – Thane – Kasarvadavli) and Metro 4A (Kasarvadavli – Gaimukh).
