Waaree Energies to Supply Solar Modules for 412.5 MW Project in Rajasthan
Waaree Energies Limited, India's largest solar PV module manufacturer with an installed capacity of 12 GW, has secured a major contract from Juna Renewable Energy Private Limited, a subsidiary of ACCIONA Energy. The contract involves supplying bifacial solar modules for a 412.5 MWp/335 MW AC project in Kawani village, Bikaner district, Rajasthan. The project is scheduled to be commissioned by March 2025.
This utility-scale solar plant will utilize Waaree's P-type bifacial modules, each with a capacity of 540-545 Wp. These modules will be mounted on horizontal single-axis trackers to enhance energy yield through improved light absorption and tracking capabilities.
