Dwarka Expressway Link Set for a Revamp
The long-awaited revamp of the road dividing sectors 102 and 102A has commenced, marking the end of nearly four years of neglect, as stated by residents. Valued at ₹11.8 crore, the project aims to reconstruct the 1.3km road, including the main carriageway, surface drain, and footpaths, with completion expected by November this year. Additionally, slip roads, junction streetlights, and road safety fixtures will be installed to enhance commuter safety and traffic flow.
Once finished, the revamped road will offer seamless connectivity to Dwarka Expressway and the upcoming Sheetla Mata medical college, significantly benefiting residents of the new sector areas.
Simultaneously, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is progressing with the construction of an underpass at Kherki Majra, slated for completion within four months, providing direct access to Hero Honda Chowk from sectors 102A and 102.
