Bhubaneshwar to undertake 6 additional town planning schemes
The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) has decided to take up six new town planning schemes in Chandaka and Pahala areas to ensure the city’s holistic development. The BDA has already completed four such schemes in Tamando and Chandaka areas. The private plots were taken over from the landowners and handed back after developing them in a planned manner. The four completed preliminary town planning schemes covered Bijipur, Tamando, Sahajpur, Nargoda, Sijuput, Paikarapur, Nuagaon and Shyamsundarpur villages spanning 1,596 acres. The BDA has proposed to take up 45 town planning schemes covering an area of 9,171 acres in about 58 revenue villages.
