Inox Wind Explores Wind Energy, Targets 3,000 MW Addition by FY26
Inox Wind (IWL) strategically eyes the wind energy sector's growth as the government aims for 50 GW capacities by 2028. Focusing on the operations and maintenance (O&M) segment, IWL aims for organic growth and potential acquisitions, anticipating a surge in orders from FY 2025 onward. Inox Green Energy Services (IGESL) plans to add 1,000 MW annually over FY24-26, totaling 3,000 MW. The O&M portfolio, standing at 3.2 GW in Q2 FY24, includes the recent acquisition of a 51 percent stake in Ifox Windtechnik India, adding over 230 MW. With a five GW project site inventory and robust transmission lines, Inox Wind positions itself as a key player in the wind energy sector.
