SWR floats tender for civil work in Karnataka
The South Western Railway (SWR) has floated a tender for the construction of various infrastructure works at Pavagada on the Tumkur-Rayadurga New Line in Karnataka. The project is worth Rs 74.39 crore and is expected to be completed within 14 months.
The scope of work includes the construction of earthwork, blanketing, minor bridges, major bridges, road over bridges (ROBs), road under bridges (RUBs), P.way, supply of ballast between ch:106/000 to ch:122/800, foot over bridges (FOBs), PF shelter, station building and passenger amenities work at Pavagada, and approach road works at Pavagada Yard.
